This piece introduces HDRs, a new innovation in the DR space. HDRs are similar to ADRs; however, they evidence ownership of shares in a corporation organized outside Hong Kong and trade on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx), enabling foreign issuers to tap the Hong Kong capital market.
